Mexico City Art Week 2022

Hija de Nada stands in front of the Anahuacallli Museum in Mexico City. It is an overcast February day and she is wearing a long coat and mask.

February 2022—I spent early winter working in Mexico, wrapping up the trip in CDMX during Art Week. The time included my first visit to Museo Anahuacalli. Not only is the collection of pre-Columbian art exquisite, but the building itself is something special to see.

Praxis of Agustín Hernández could be my favorite stop of the week. Not only was Praxis more impressive than I expected, but the architect himself made the rounds while we were there. Can you spot him in the photo?
