December 10— Last Sunday was my first visit to Moon Wool's pop-up in the old town of Zürich, Switzerland. Safe to say, I flipped when I saw Cristina's work. The room was filled with yarns of wool, silk and alpaca- each skein a rich example of the colors that can be achieved from natural dyes. Cristina told me about some of the techniques and ingredients she uses to achieve particular hues. I left with an armful of wool and spent my walk home dreaming about what to make.
