HdN's Winter Color Palette

In the past few years I have had the opportunity to visit the glacial landscapes of northern Montana, Aletsch in the Swiss Alps, and the kettles, kames and eskers of southeastern Wisconsin, USA. These places have been the inspiration behind Hija de Nada's winter color palette- sandy ochres fading into pale blue-green pastel tones, stoney grays peppered with flecks of deep charcoal and warm whites, and earthy sepias washed with lavender. It felt like the opportune season to bring the color and textural elements of these magnificent landscapes into headwear and knitwear for the winter season.
